What is the difference between a Bushing and a Reducer?

A Bushing has a male and a female thread. A reducer has female threads on both ends.

What is the standard length of steel pipe?

Steel pipe comes Standard in 21' lens. It is also stocked in 10' and referred to as Quick Sticks. Other types of pipe such as plastic or PVC comes in 10' or 20' lens, Copper 10' or 20', Brass 12' lens.

The pipe will have a thread on each end and a coupling on only one end.
